Hello! With PUBG 1.0 launch right around the corner, I thought I’d update my FPS and optimization guide for the new patch and the new way the engine handles post process effects etc. Some stuff is carried over from the previous guide, but the in-game settings have changed quite a bit. More below:

  1. Shadows on Very Low is a mistake and prevents player shadows on roofs/rocks/high ground being rendered on the lower floors and hence giving away the enemies position. Should be at least on medium and saved my ass many times!

  2. i have only 10 fps gain i have now 40 but fps is fps plus im on a laptop btw i want some more in depth stuff for how the new ballistics works it seems as shotguns are OP if you can aim and the sks is WAY to hard to lead running targets with

  3. Hello, any reason for dropping reshade? I've used it since I first bought the game. I'm finally playing decent now and an nervous about making changes.

  4. When i go where you said, in compatibilty, i cant find the "Overrride high DPI scaling behavior Scalling performed by" but i have another option called "Disable display scalling on high DPI settings". I dont know if they are the same options but i really cant find the option you said at the first of the video.

    Sorry for bad english.

  5. High dpi scaling only works for some for me it did nothing but what did make a difference was the disable full screen optimizations. I tested with both checked and one each checked so I know only the full screen helped me so people should try that out I have them both checked still though.

  6. I’m running an 1060gtx with a ryson 7 1700 3ghz. All stock. I get about 60fps in game average, is this normal ? I see here he is getting 100+. Is he on a 1080 etc to get this speed, is mine ok for the spec ? Thanks.

  7. antialiasing to high?
this guy has no idea what he's talking about, lmao
i dont even think he knows what those graphic settings do
    worse fps 'guide' ever

  8. Peeeeeeeeladitoooooooo queridoooooo crack de la vida, le diste la oportunidad de seguir teniendo pelo. Cuando quieras unas birritas con la flia. Saluditos el modz.

  9. Dont buy that type of headset from seinheiser, the mic snaps after a 1-2,5 years. Bought it twice, happened twice. No i did not drop it. They refuse to send a new. :))

  10. Can you help me guys
    i have a laptop
    gtx 960m
    12gb ram
how much fps can i get? and what are the settings that is advisable so that i will have max fps thanks guys

  11. I got more fps from doing this. But got more freeze lag, just in the begining. Funiture took like 20-30 sec to load in from landing, how come? graphsettings did not differ much from yours.

  12. Stumbled across you a few days ago. Enjoy the content and breakdown of ranked players!
One addition that you said you weren't sure of regarding how FOV scaling can affect performance; I watched a video from a guy a looonnng while back that tested this on many games and while PUBG may be different it was generally between 4 and 9 FPS difference on lower-end GPUs. So fairly negligible.
Keep up the great stuff, Amigo!

Edit: I get the reasoning behind running such high AA and PP but damn, I hate the way they look. Lol Plus, perhaps I'm lucky, but I happen to have an AOC monitor that has a "Clear vision" feature that works exactly the same as AA or PP which I use instead. I've tried running both higher and I feel like I'm just looking at my screen through a blurry sheet of plastic. Aye, urvreeone is different though! lol
