Apple of Discord – Destiny Weapon Review

The Apple of Discord was a Greek myth about a vanity-fueled feud among Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite that eventually led to the Trojan War. In Destiny’s The Taken King, its a Hakke pulse rifle that kicks like a mule.

  1. I have Counterbalance on a few Hakke pulse rifles (Apple of Discord included), which is helpful because it makes the recoil pattern entirely vertical, even though it doesn't actually reduce the kick. Great review!

  4. Great Review! I gave the vendor apple a try, and I really didn't like the four round burst. The perks and stats are pretty decent, but as you said the recoil is a bit much. I'm really liking the feel of the Hawksaw now over the Apple.

  5. Herja-D and Lyudmila-D are better considering they come 280 from the gunsmith and they can get various sets of perks without great effort. Correct on the unusual pattern but counterbalance should fix it. Then there's Headseeker. If anyone finds these perks on the same gun its guaranteed to be OP.
